If you are completely new to apiary it’s sometimes a good idea to rent before you buy. Bees can be particular about their surroundings, and renting a hive is the perfect opportunity to make sure the bees, your garden and yourself and family are all very happy.

You and your hive must always be registered and it’s a bonus if you’re willing to learn to recognise disease, coming along to one of our day courses in bee keeping can be a great help and great start to becoming a back garden apiarist.
